Terms of using Quiver
Last updated 2026-05-23.
These terms describe what you can expect from Quiver and what Quiver expects from you. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Who we are
"Quiver" refers to the resume tailoring service at quiver.work, operated as a sole proprietorship based in Illinois, USA. "You" means the person using the service. "We" and "us" mean Quiver.
Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use Quiver. You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up, and to keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. If you notice unauthorized access, email support@quiver.work and we will help.
Acceptable use
Use Quiver for its intended purpose: tailoring your own resume to roles you are pursuing. Don't use it to impersonate other people, to fabricate credentials you don't hold, to abuse the service (e.g. scripted load designed to exhaust resources or scrape data), to attempt to access other users' accounts, or to break applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
Your content
You own the resumes, job posts, notes, and drafts you bring to Quiver. You grant Quiver a limited license to store, process, and display that content for the purpose of running the service for you, including sending the relevant portions to the third parties listed in our Privacy Policy so the product can function. That license ends when you delete the content or close your account, with the exception of records we are legally required to retain.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you bring and for having the right to use it. Quiver drafts only from material you provide, but the final application you send is your work, and the claims in it are your representations to the employer.
Payments
Quiver currently sells credit packs through Stripe. Credits expire after 24 months of account inactivity (no sign-ins or purchases). The pack price shown at checkout is what you pay; applicable taxes may be added at the Stripe step. Once a pack is purchased and the credits are granted to your account, the purchase is considered complete and is generally non-refundable. If a charge looks wrong, or if Quiver fails to deliver credits you paid for, email support@quiver.work and we will sort it out in good faith. You can stop using the service at any time; because there is no recurring subscription, there is nothing to cancel.
Service availability and changes
Quiver is a hosted web service operated by one person. We aim for it to be available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uptime, and we may need to take it offline for maintenance, security work, or in response to issues with a third-party dependency. We may also change features, retire features, or change pricing for future purchases. Credits you already hold will continue to work as the product evolves; if a material change makes that impossible, we will contact you.
Disclaimers
Quiver is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce a specific result. In particular, Quiver does not guarantee any job-related outcome, including interviews, offers, or any improvement in response rate. Quiver is a tool that helps you produce a tailored application from your real experience; how employers respond is up to them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Quiver and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of your use of the service (for example, lost opportunities, lost income, or lost data). Where liability cannot be excluded, the total amount Quiver owes you under these terms in any twelve-month period is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid Quiver in that period or (b) one hundred US dollars.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the settings screen. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms or that creates legal or operational risk for the service. On termination, your access to the service ends; the parts of these terms that by their nature should survive (ownership of content, disclaimers, liability cap, governing law) continue to apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Disputes
If a dispute comes up, we'd rather resolve it directly. Email support@quiver.work first and we will try to work it out. If a dispute cannot be resolved that way, it will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you and Quiver each agree to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product or the business changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will move when we do. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
